Health fund glasses
Optical Extras? Use them, don’t lose them by December 31st
Looking for health fund glasses? Did you know that you can claim ANY health fund optical extras with us? Maximise your entitlements and our expertise to find the perfect eyewear solution for you. We take the time to understand how you use your eyes so that we can tailor our eyewear recommendation for your needs.
Here are nine new eyewear ideas to help you use your optical benefits this year:
1. Prescription Sunglasses
Enjoy crisp, clear vision and UV protection at the same time. Sunglasses in your prescription are no longer an indulgence; they’re one of life’s necessities for glasses wearers. Ask us about polarisation for an even better result. You’ll never look back!
2. Digital Eyewear
Spend a lot of time in front of digital screens? Ask us about digital eyewear to help alleviate the strain on your eyes. We know that spending 2+ hours on digital devices can lead to neck & shoulder pain, headaches or tired, itchy eyes. Relax and protect your eyes from digital eye strain with dedicated digital eyewear.
3. Reading Glasses
If you enjoy reading and do a lot of close-work, a specific pair of reading glasses can provide clear vision and an extra level of comfort for your eyes.
4. New fashion look
We love helping people select a new look from our hand-picked range of frames. Let’s face it. There’s nothing quite like treating yourself to a new look and when it’s your eyes, everyone will notice!
5. Sports Eye wear
Whether you play the occasional round of golf or are an elite athlete, sports specific eyewear can enhance your performance and comfort, whilst protecting your eyes against harmful UV rays and injury.
6. Driving glasses
Your vision is responsible for around 90% of the information we use for driving. We can assess your vision to ensure maximum road safety with appropriate eyewear. Furthermore, driving specific lenses and night driving glasses help eliminate the bright glare from oncoming traffic and street lights.
7. Contact Lenses
The latest technologies in contact lenses means we can prescribe a contact lens solution for almost any prescription. Don’t let glasses get in your way. Enjoy the freedom, comfort and convenience of contact lenses (and they come in multifocals!). The latest contact lens technologies open up a world of possibilities!
8. Spare Everyday Pair
Losing or breaking your glasses can be stressful if you don’t have a back-up pair. Come in and claim a spare pair with your optical extras. Take the stress out of those sticky situations by making sure you have a spare pair with your current prescription on-hand if you need it.
9. Social/Occasion Glasses
You wouldn’t wear the same pair of shoes with every outfit, so why would you wear the same pair of glasses? Consider a conservative style for work, a bolder design for casual wear and something more elegant for formal occasions.
Don’t lose your optical extras. Claim them before December 31st!

Preferred provider and Member’s Choice provider
We’ve been approached by many health funds looking to sign us up to their network of preferred providers. Put simply, we don’t need to sign up to provide best value to members. We are an independent optometrist and our philosophy of true independence means we choose to be registered and process claims for all private health fund members, without bias.
